Professional goals for the remainder of the year

What are your professional goals for the remainder of the calendar year?

For me, I want to see my idea for a fundraising event through to fruition. I want to continue to build my portfolio and I want to see this group, the Nonprofit Professionals Forum, flourish.

Tammy,

My main goal this financial year (through to 31 March 2009)is to merge our charity with a housing association. This will give us greater bargaining power in an extremely competitive market and hopefully give our clients a better service.

My priority through the end of the year is to successfully guide my coalition through a strategic planning process to prepare ourselves for the new political landscape of 2009 and beyond. So if anyone has a good guide to strategic planning...

I believe mine will be to train a group of 60 project management professionals and setup new systems for audit of health management and infrastructure programs

Our goal over the course of the remainder of the year is to begin the strategic planning process for the next 3-5 years. We are looking to build a "best in class" donor-centric group of fund-raisers focused on connecting the 'Major Donor Community' with the needs of the poor and oppressed. Key components for building include team talent management/upskilling and performance acknowledgement.

My goal is to learn as much as my aging brain can possibly absorb about social media and to pass it on to the nonprofits I serve. For me, it's all about making deeper connections and becoming more engaged with your supporters.
