Turnover

For many reasons, the nonprofit industry is rife with turnover. Be it direct service, program implementation, fundraising, or administration, we often see people come and go for a variety of reasons. How has turnover with impacted your organization as a whole? How does it impact your level of commitment to the mission and the work being carried out?

I know this is a somewhat broad question but I'd love to get your feedback based on your experiences.

Summer fundraisers

Do you find summer to be a tough time to fundraise? Do you use the summer months in preparation for your fall and year end activities? Do you supplement your revenue through summer fundraisers, etc?

Donors

What donor pool do you find has been most impacted by today's economy? A large number of organizations are feeling the crunch from smaller, individual donors. Has your organization experienced the same? Do you feel comfortable with the measures you (and your organization) has put in place to keep this group vested and giving?

Staffing

How large is your fundraising program as it relates to staffing? When considering your organization's budget, do you feel that you have the staff in place to achieve your revenue goal?

Fundraising Databases

What fundraising database software does your organization use? Are you satisfied with the system(s)?

Professional goals for the remainder of the year

What are your professional goals for the remainder of the calendar year?

For me, I want to see my idea for a fundraising event through to fruition. I want to continue to build my portfolio and I want to see this group, the Nonprofit Professionals Forum, flourish.
