The Chicago Book Clinic will hold its 57th Book and Media Show on November 6, 2008 at the Chicago Mart Plaza Hotel located at 350 West Mart Center Drive in Chicago. The Book and Media Show is our annual celebration of excellence in publishing with members of the publishing community in the Central US and Canada competing in 13 categories and dozens of sub-categories.
What is the Show About?
The 2008 Book & Media Show honors excellence in the planning, supervision, and execution of the physical and visual aspects of publishing media. The show will include an exhibit of the best publications, the presentation of awards, and a dinner for professionals in the publishing industry.
Call for Entries
The Chicago Book Clinic proudly announces a Call For Entries in its 57th show—the 2008 Book & Media Show. The deadline for entries is July 1, 2008. The goal is to demonstrate the outstanding quality of publishing in the Central US and Canada and to recognize the importance of books (or book design) and multimedia in our society. We invite the publishing community to enter their best works.

I am currently Volunteering for an organization doing Publicity. I eventually hope to do this full time in a paid position witha non profit. Any advice here? I enjoy the interaction woth people and also like working a special events.
